i lost two in 7th grade, one in 8th, and spent the other half of the year borrowing like crazy. now i've had my nspire for a semester now :) I'm so very proud nobody's stolen it yet.

i think the blue casing in nspire protects itself from theft.

At my school, in the Venn diagram of people that steal stuff and people that are in hard enough math to warrant a graphing calculator, the middle is very small.

First two years of high school I used an old TI 83 plus, one of those black ones. But then beginning of junior year I bought a blue 84 silver edition or whatever it was. Beginning of this year, senior year, I lost it. Or it was stolen. I have no idea how I misplaced it >_< And then I lost my 83 but someone brought it to the lost and found yay. But still I want taht 84 back -.-

Someone stole mine, brought it back to school to play games on it and got caught. Someone broke into my car, stole everything (my backpack with my calc), but they tossed my calculator out the window and I found it on a sidewalk a few days later. Someone stole stuff out of my backpack including my music player which was right next to my calculator. They didn’t take the calc though.

I love my calculator now. We’ve been through a lot.

I lost mine in the 8th grade when I was in PreCal. I was devastated for a few days, and I eventually gave up any hope of finding it. sob
