I’m surprised by some of these responses, given the self-selecting nature of the CC population.

Well, our high school is anything but normal. I’m just a freshmen (well, sophomore now since school ended last week), so my schedule is different from “real” high schoolers. We have our own 9th grade campus, where we have 6 classes that last the whole year. The only grade that actually matters is the final grade at the end of the year.

On the high school campus, though, they have a block schedule also. There are 2 grading periods per semester, each worth 1/3 of the final grade for that class. Then you take a final for the other 1/3. There are 4 classes per semester, so 8 classes each year.

Yeah I have, more than once. In subjects from my best (English) to worst (math) to most pointless (Jazz band).

I even got a D in second semester of ALGEBRA II, which most of you claim to be able to know how to do in your sleep. Beat that, CCers!

No. Ten characters.

77 in second quarter, 78 in third. Bam.

Close, I have gotten a B- in freshman year. I hated the history class and my teacher; she picked favorites and made you feel like sh-- if you didn’t know the answer. Maybe that’s why I despise history classes…

I got an 80 one quarter. In science. In the 5th grade. That was the lowest class grade I’ve ever gotten… I don’t even understand that haha

dang, I hope there’s someone who hasn’t gotten lower than an A in their life.

hay guise, I almoz gawt a 92.4 in Differential Equations, n I almoz poot’d mah pantzz. lulz.

Never a C, but one B in middle school, 2 Bs in high school. CC advanced ed classes no Bs.

The B in middle school was from a tough English teacher who only gave about 2-3 A’s a semester in a class of about 30. The 2 B’s in high school were first semester of freshman year. It is actually funny that non-weighted classes brought down my weighted GPA more than my two B+'s.

Never failed a class. My first time having a grade below a B was 10th grade, chemistry class where I got a C. Reason? Well my grades were in the range of 80-85%, C scale in chemistry is 75-85% besides the fact that chemistry is ranked as one of the toughest classes in my school. Any Advance Placement class I earn a C in, on transcript our school said they would show up as a B, though when I ordered a transcript myself ( beginning of senior year) it did not. A good amount of my teachers could have an adjustment to their garding scales.

I haven’t gotten a C in a class. The lowest semester grade I’ve gotten is a B- (somewhere around 81.65%).

Oh yes definitely. Including this semester, probably 10-12 of them through out high school IN ADDITION to three or four D’s. Im proud to say that I don’t give a **** either.

Defo. Oh, physics, you are the bane of my existence.

^you are so funny.

oh, because caring about grades make us a bunch of homosexuals. You sir, are very smart.

^^^I think someone has some self confidence issues.

^^^^ lol i like this guy.

I have reported the poster.

No.

90 is the closest I have gotten to that, solely progress report though.

86 = C at my school
