My friend and I say JAYKAY online to make fun of people who spell it out in person.

(Not on a consistent basis though)

A lot of the gay guys say jk, it's like their thing. The "preppy" girls at my school say omg a lot, but there's so few of them. Sometimes I slip and lol, and people look at me funny.

I love saying BRB (just to my friends who know I'm joking). Other than that, I don't say any.

My Newspaper teacher (who's very young and rather spacey) says "brb" and "lol" all the time, like she's so hip. I swear she tries to impress the pretty girls in our class. Too bad all they do is laugh at her.

I really don't like internet lingo in actual real life conversations...It just bothers me...This girl has offically started some little trend where it's in to say J to the K.

I say "W T F mate" from the End of the World flash video. lol

correction: I meant some girl at my school started a trend where it's cool to say J to the K.

why would someone use Aim/msn/internet vocabulary in real life...thats so sad...

do you prodounce lol

"lohl"
or
"ell-oh-ell"

I've heard people use "lohl," Gleech.

Or rather, "LAWL."

And sometimes, "Laugh Out Loud!"

Wait.....so people actually say lol?

Let me get this straight. 'lol' is supposed to be code for 'laugh out loud'- users are letting their IM recipients know that they are laughing in real life. the only reason it's used is because the users want the recipient to know that they found a previous comment/situation amusing.

In real life, if you wanted someone to know you found a comment funny, there's absolutely no reason to say lol. You could just laugh. out. loud.

Wow. people are funny. lol.

"Ell oh ell semicolon parenthesis!"

No but really I might say O-M-F-G or W-T-F

i have a friend who stays "s-t-f-u" but it's funny because she pronounces it like it's a word rather than an acronym. She goes.."Shhttphooo".

I have another friend who says "bty" to mean "by the way" ...yes, that's a y, not a w. It's apparently easier to put the y at the end instead of the w, but she just says it's cooler. My opinion? that's completely retarded. You shouldnt be using "by the way" so often that you need to abbreviate it anyway. it's kind of rude sometimes.

Yeah, my friends and I only do it when we're being stupid.

Person 1 tells are really bad joke.
Person A tells them "L... O... L..."

Or if we're being excessively ditzy (we're already pretty ditzy) we'll say stuff like O... MG!

So yeah, just to be stupid. Like a lot of people.

ive never heard anyone saying jay kay. i did hear some one saying lol, but not as in ell o ell, but as in lyk 'lol' according to the sound.

i say W T F. its pretty sweeet.

i say w t f. and if someone says a joke that really isn't funny, i'll probably say 'lol' and walk away.

let me answer the question the thread asks:

no.

:)
