It seems like I am picking it up.. Ach!!

I think it is. I feel like the only one on the entire Internet that uses real English on forums, instead of things like "owned", "rolf", "lmao", "lol", etc.

to clarify, I mean when talking to other people in real life. haha.

the one I am hearing more and more................

I hear it from people who I am shocked would be so misspoken.

bons .

My personal favorite is when they say thx instead of thanks. Just makes you really sound like an idiot when you use 'thx' all the time.

Omg, I totally own you people, y'all use such bad English! lol just kiddin. lmao.

Anyways, kthxbye.

^hahahahhaahahaha. I say anyways all the time, I never knew it was wrong!

Would you say anyhows?

Yeah, sometimes ;)

The type of "bad english" you're exposed to and ultimatly pick up really depends on what party o the country you're in. Around here, EVERYONE says "hella" or "hecka" or "savage" as in " I'm hella cool and a total savage. You're hecka ugly!" grrrrr it bothers me sooo much! how can something be "hella" cool?

I pwnzor ur h4XXor s%it

Yeah...hella kul

well, hella is really really popular in california, or at least where i live...

Yeah hella is ridiculously popular in CA. that's where I am. A friend of mine actually went to the East coast to study at a college over the summer a year ago and people there actually made fun of her for saying hella cuz they had NEVER heard it before in their lives! how weird! pssh, suck up east coast rich people! lol. However, she wasn't the worst person there when it came to using poor English. Apparently, there were some people from Texas yelling in big, thick accents and relentlessly saying "ya'll" and "i aint".....

this may annoy some of you, but i have to say, coming from california, that last post was hella funny for some reason. :D

haha masha, I think we should clarify - "hella" is a NOR-Cal word, and those of us in the southern part of this state can't stand it either :)

Second, I would argue that such things as "hella" and other such expressions are simply slang that is transient in nature and varies by location and do not constitute "bad english". Bad grammar is what really annoys me (both on and offline). "this is wut sum1 sed to me" <---- I CAN"T STAND that style of typing

As someone from Texas, I've only heard a few heavy accents. "Ya'll" is fairly prevalent, though.

This is not related to bad English, but rather regional differences in the use of certain terms; in this case, it is over the controversy of soda versus pop: http://www.popvssoda.com/

Anywaise.....

:)

I noticed I've been swearing more often - I suppose that would count as bad English
