I am starting a thread where college students can post what companies they've interviewed with, from whom they've received offers, and if they've accepted any offers. Just a fun way to make these boards livelier again. I'll start off:

Interviewed with: Deloitte Consulting, E&Y, Unum, JP Morgan Chase, IBM

Received offers from: none as of yet, still going on 2nd-rounders

1st round interviews: Deloitte Consulting (S&O), ZS Associates, Novantas, AT Kearney, GE (FMP), NERA Econ Consulting,The Brattle Group, RBC Capital Markets

Offers: RBC Cap Markets, Deloitte (S&O)

Accepted Offers: None yet (I like both my offers so far, but for very different reasons, so I am not 100% sure what I will do)

Notes: After I got my Deloitte offer I took myself out of the running for a lot of the places that I first-rounded at, and withdrew from other first round interviews, however, I didn’t get second rounds with Novantas or GE

congrats on the offers, guys. do either of you go to a top-25 university? i assume you got most of your 1st-rounders through on-campus recruiting.

1st rounds with Deloitte Consulting, Microsoft, Capital One, PepsiCo (IT), Johnson&Johnson (IT), IBM GBS, The Nielsen Company and some others
2nd rounds (so far) with Capital One, Nielsen, Microsoft and 2 others
offers: JPMC (tech) from my internship

Would these companies accept applicants who didn’t attend a top 50 university?

I have work experience, grades, and such but my University is not ranked in the top 50. Would this automatically disqualify me from an interview?
