Yeah it’s called senioritis. My school is not too hard but they have tons of tons of exercises and assignments. I hate doing lengthy and tedious hw .

This is a definition of senioritis on urban dictionary:

when high school seniors get lazy, no longer give a damn, and just cant wait till school ends
1: hey can i copy ur hw? i didnt do it. i was sleeping in class yesterday anyway
2: i didnt do it either
1: ah, well. screw it. i dont really care. senioritis, man.
2: amen

LOL.

Totally!

lol

Bad thing is my school ends after grade 9, so none of the 8th graders have been infected with senioritis but me.

I’ve had it worse than this… At my old school I knew I was leaving 5 weeks into the term and therefore would get no report card/nothing on my record… I was utterly appaling, I did literaaly no work at all. I mean right now at least I’m doing some of my work all be it half hearedly and late.

We finish in 8th but it’s a pretty seamless transition into high school so the people who are slacking off are the ones that always do. I appear to be the only infected.

Well, I don’t mean to scare you but just in case some of you guys grades have dropped alot, Boarding schools are allowed to rescind admission. Although, I am sure that type of problem won’t happen to you guys. My grades are about the same; I just need to get some of those A-'s up.

Most of the time boarding schools don’t rescind admission, even though they have every right to. And my grades haven’t dropped, it’s just that I find little motivation to study at school.

UF, I highly doubt they’ll rescend admission for a couple of Bs and mabye a C. I doubt that’d happen though, I got all my hw done due today in the class before it was due eg. period 1 in homeroom, period 2 hw in period 1 ect… It worked really well. I got my english essay done at lunch. I still have straight As and I highly doubt that’ll change.

You go to public; I go to private. You can do that; I can’t. Well, I can but I want A’s not C’s. And if your 1st marking period grades were A’s and most or all dropped to C-'s they would probably ask questions/rescind admission.

I went to selective private schools my entire life before this year, so I’m not entirely ignorant of what it takes to keep As in a competitive environment. Before I moved here I had As in all core subjects except math which was a B and Latin a B+ (which made me about 2nd in my grade, I think he gave 1 overall A the entire year) and placed in the top 5/250 in my grade. My study habbits havnn’t changed much really, I did a little more work at home but it was more of the 3am variety than doing it in class.

I am jealous of you guys who take latin. I had to take 2 years of spanish because my school only offers spanish or french. So in these two years, I’ve learned to say Hola and Como estas? thats it. I think I may switch to latin when I go to bs.

^^
my school offers only spanish and french as well :D

@ my school, the only option for middle school is latin and a lot of people hate it and wish they could take french or spanish! role reversal wishing much? :P

My school used to offer french and spanish. Now it only offers spanish. >:[

Oh, and right after my school sent out my 102 in science, it dropped down to a 96… ;)

I had to drop latin at PS and take fench instead. One thing i love about groton is I can continue both although latin would be my priority.

My school offers Latin and Spanish.

My school offers chinese, french, latin, and spanish in middle school. The spanish is really intense by the time kids come out of there they can hablo espanol like nobody else.

Except for the native speakers of course.

we have spanish, french, and chinese.

Yes, yes my grades have certainly dropped. (I’ll definitely be able to pull them up again before the end of the semester though, so its all good. :)) Haha applying to BS has had such a huge impact on my life its CRAZY!!!
