As of now, I have a C+ in one of my classes. Granted, it's only two grades, and it will go up, but I henestly cannot put in the serious effort to get the A...

Yes, my grades have dropped significantly. I had 99’s and 100’s but now I have a 91 in one of my classes =[

trumpetgrl, it sounds like either your school has grade inflation or you’re running for valedictorian… or both. I can’t actually imagine having a 99 class average at my school, even in math classes.

I don’t think this counts, but I got a C- on my AP chem midterm. That was worse than I expected. My AP chem teacher actually let us barter some extra points in exchange for tutoring other students, so it got promoted to a C.

No; in fact, my grades have improved this semester, and there’s a pretty good chance I’ll make straight A’s. I guess it’s due to the fact that I’m motivated to improve my grades from the previous semester (transferred in to a competitive prep school at the beginning of the year and struggled a little with adjusting), plus the fact that I have 5 classes now instead of 6. The work load is definitely more manageable now.

in my honors physics class, the only seniors are these two other girls + myself [we opted for AP sciences last year]. on the midterm, i got a 60, the other girl got a 61, and the other girl got a 65. ■■■■■. my teacher was basically telling the 3 of us “i know you’re seniors, but try not to slip up any further,” bahaha.

Lol, I recently got a 45 on a random pop quiz in English on an intro packet about the author of a book we’re going over. That quiz was something I was not prepared for lol. I think I dropped half a letter grade because of that.

Yay for seniors’ last semester!

kinda.

I used to have a 95 in geometry. I was sick for 2 weeks, and the day I came back we had a test and a quiz. I had to take the test, because it was on the website and I could have called to get help. I got a 48 on the test, 65 on the quiz. It lowered my grade to a 79.
2nd trimester of freshman year :/

english (strong sub.) 99 to 98. i’m not upset though

Yes.

I feel as if I haven’t been focusing as much and not putting in the effort like I had last semester.

I always start the term very well, then my grades slip as it goes along. My progress report GPA for the first half of this term was the highest it has ever been, but since then I’ve barely done anything. I didn’t hand in an essay for history and failed a test - our teacher is terrible and doesn’t teach, so I have no motivation to do work. :/

I have gasp a B in almost every class! oh noooooo I’m a failure…

93 - APUSH. others are above 95. It’s almost over. Last week of the term. It’s over.

The C I have in physics now is slightly lower than my previous C’s in physics.

Yes, I have an 87 in both math and AP Govt >_< The rest are A’s though. But dammit! They’re low A’s. We’re all so overachievery it’s sad. And the reason my grades are lower was because I was prepping for the ACT…not doing anything particularly fun. Now it’s just AP preppin’ all the way til May! Hehe. :)

YES! Omg my math grade is death. I’d be lucky to pull off a B- or B.

4 Bs right now
muahahaha

my grades have plummeted into the bowels of hell :(

The classes at my school are a joke…I have a 99+ in 7 classes and a 96 in the 8th.

yep…on one of my tests, the highest grade was like a 75%. there were scores as low as 3/45 (no joking), and most of the class failed.

and this is in my honors class, full of straight-A students.

My grades aren’t completely slipping, but I’m definitely feeling the stress more then I used to. I think most of it is due to putting a lot more work into extracurriculars in addition to having more homework, but I’m not too concerned yet. I’m kind of jealous that you all have percentage grades so you can at least see where you stand - I only have a percent in math and have to guess what I have in the rest of my classes by looking purely at the letters!

My course load this year is harder, so yes, my grades have slightly dropped.
