@2010 hopeful: Don’t be jealous! In my opinion Latin is sooooo difficult. But maybe I just think that cause I’m not really a language person. :P

My trimester ended last week. I think my grades were pretty good, although now that it’s third trimester I’ve been slacking a little. Not stressing so much about tests (I can still get great scores without studying, I just never let myself do that before), not doing as much extra-credit stuff, that sort of thing. Even if I don’t get in anywhere I’m not staying at my current school, so my mom is fine with me taking it easy. She says I won’t have the chance not to worry about grades so much until I’m a spring-term senior in high school, and it’s just nice to be okay with an 80 now and then. My grades are still pretty good.

My trimester ended today. Many other eight graders grades have dropped, but mine have stayed pretty solid.

It’s going to be test time soon I LOVE test time It makes me grades go from Es to As… Plenty kids have straight As still but I don’t know them really, my friends have never been straight A students and still aren’t… They more into fighting the system. I’m a bookworm but I can’t stand super organized, chirpy efficent people. Sorry if you are one, I know these people make the world go round and im an insy bit jealus to be honest and they hate me for being an utter disaster and not taking school seriously enough. I got in trouble for my blank planner and not using the rings in my binder :D

my school does TONS of standardised testing, so I’ve been trying to rebel against them, which only succeeded in my elglish teacher being “concerned,” and showing a prompt we had to write to the guidance counselor. I also get massive amounts of homework, which I’m actually doing now that all my apps are in, unless they’re SUPER tedious, as they are 40% of the time, in which case I either don’t do it, or do it during homeroom. I have better things to do with my time than learn vocab I’ve known since I was 10 and do easy math. My english teacher gives us worksheets that don’t even relate to the book we’re reading, and have mispelled words and missused grammar on them because he just prints them out from the internet. ok, enough ranting, i gonna go eat some food now.
