Hi there! I was recently admitted to Georgetown as a nursing major, and I’ve read that many clinical locations are about half an hour away from the school, so it’d probably be best to have a car. However, I have also read that undergraduates are not allowed to bring cars, as GU does not provide parking spaces for students. Is this true?
Theoretically all undergrads are banned from having cars. In practice, if you really feel you need one, its not too much trouble to rent a space from someone in the neighborhood if you have the money for it. DC’s public transit system is pretty good, so you shouldn’t need a car though
