<p>I'm considering an HBCU to go to college. Do HCBUs have a negative effect, or any effect after graduating and wokring? And do you get an advantage, or have a better experience as an African-American going to an HBCU?
I'm considering Oakwood University against Southern Adventist University.</p>
<p>The best advice I can tell you is to visit an HBCU and a non HBCU. Talk to students and advisors at both schools and make the best decision for yourself.</p>
<p>Some HBCU’s are really easy to get into. That means that anybody could get in there which could affect your experience there. Just something to thunk about.</p>
