They always advised going to about 100 words, but now it is mandatory. Do you think this is a permanent change or an accident?
I thought there’d always been a 100 word limit? Either way, I’d still cap it off at 100 words just to be safe.

It has said one hundred words, at the very least, for the past few months. The only one that was 125 words was the “Why Yale” type question.
To clarify, while it recommended 100 words, the text box allowed up to 125 for a bit of overshoot. It no longer does.
