Could someone please tell me the deadline for this?

Googlizzle is yo dawg.

sep 21, I THINK. just double check it yourself :)

Oh gawd I still haven't done it lkdfkdljf

i partially fabricated some information and mine went through

yep, pretty sure it's sept 21st

How much is "some information"?

mylifeisover23: Until the deadline passes, you're not off the hook just yet. They randomly audit a lot of students. I was one of them last year.

whats the fee waiver for?

Every student attending UCSD is required to have health insurance. If a student doesn't provide enough information proving that his/her's physician is within 100 miles of UCSD, then they are automatically signed up for UCSD's own health insurance (called SHIP). However, the cost of SHIP is $246 per quarter. Therefore, in order to have this fee waived, one must fill out the health insurance fee waiver and provide evidence of having their own insurance already.

if they audit me i'll provide them with the correct info

^lol but what if they do something to you for providing wrong info in the first place

i guess i will have to deal?

do they accept ppo?

yes but i think you will need to have your primary care physician within 100 miles of ucsd

what's the point of SHIP and what is it? whats the health fee waiver btw? i dont get it

UCSD provides you health care for a fee. If you already have health care, you can waive the UCSD service.

IRAN.4, did you not read this thread at all?? Poster IGOTIN! already answered that question earlier in the thread. I've been pretty tolerant of you, but this just proves that you expect to sit on your arse and get answers spoon-fed to you. I mean come on...the answer was on this thread!

I say that we stop answering IRAN.4's questions. We're spoiling him.

Thanks to all who responded.

Well of course I wouldn't want to waive it. Why would I if I'm getting FREE healthcare from UCSD?

It's not free.
