Healthy food with cheap prices?

I'm sick of eating **** all of the time.... are there any places near Central Campus (or anywhere really) that sell healthy food that won't make me broke?

Ann arbor bus stop outside union -> route #16 -> meijer

On one hand it takes forever. On the other hand you can buy for several meals.

As for places that won’t make you broke, central campus and reasonable pricing do not mix, unless your definition of reasonable is skewed by living in a place like New York.

The People’s Food Co-op is about an 8 minute walk from North Quad. I don’t recall what kind of prices they have, though.

Amer’s, No Thai, Jimmy Johns, Panera, Chipotle. You name it, it’s all right there… And it’s not all that expensive.

If you’re looking for groceries, Trader Joe’s has great organic stuff for a (relatively) low price. It’s on the AATA #4 line.

@ajhhs, the others are decently healthy, but from which angle is a burrito good for you? :P

Perhaps we should have asked the OP to give us his definition of “healthy food” first. As for Panera, I stopped eating there when I found out how much sodium is in their sandwiches.
