<p>I just called admission and asked them when how long it takes for them to reach a decision and she said that there is no usual time, but at this time it probably takes from 3-4 weeks or longer. =/</p>

<p>It may seem like a while but in reality they have only been doing apps for under two months… it takes UF 5 months! </p>

<p>I had my D recheck to see if there were any updates online from UCF and it was posted that she was deferred until they receive updated transcript showing latest grades for fall. So they must have updated today because it was still pending Friday night.</p>
<p>What was your d gpa and when did she put in her app</p>
<p>3.7 weighted, not sure what it is recalculated and 24 on act. She applied Aug. 1st. She’s been accepted at three other schools already. So she will have her grades resent Nov. 17th when report cards are out.</p>

<p>One of my D’s friends was accepted today. She applied late September, but she is like #2 in her Senior class.
Does anyone know by chance how to get/what is the Personal Code you need in order to access the MyUSF account?</p>
<p>One of the dumbest girls I know got accepted today, and she didn’t apply too long ago. I applied late August, have a 2030 SAT, among other things, and still haven’t heard. They’re really ****ing me off and I am reconsidering them as my 1st choice</p>

<p>That doesn’t make any sense:/ Gosh, I wish they could actually interview us. I would literally fly down their, from Illinois, for a ten minute interview.</p>
<p>I believe by fall grades, they mean semester grades. We went thru the same thing once D was deferred and sent in the quarterly grades and got no update. Once the semester was over, we sent in the mid year grades, and that’s when it finally changed to Accepted. It could be different now, but you may not get a response until they receive the updated transcript in January.</p>
<p>South mom. A24. 3.7 should be def in for summer. I woukd have her call admissions. Her gpa is on the higher side so I’m not sure why they wantvto see grades? Dud you ask your friend?</p>

<p>My D did over 250 service hours as she worked with the athletic trainer and the football team and served as a water girl and of course did service hours with the church. Other than that, she never really participated in the after school clubs - she really hates her high school and the people that go there (very snobby).</p>
<p>Oh I forgot to mention my D applied for summer session. Her 3.7 gpa is weighted and her unweighted is 3.0, I think if it’s recalculated, her weighted gpa is more like 3.4 or 3.5. She is taking her first ap course this year (the last three years have been all honors). She only had 1.5 credit hours to graduate high school because she took so many sciences as an elective…so she has two honor science classes and ap gov’t this year, the rest are regular classes…her gpa right now is around 3.9 weighted - so we shall see. I know everyone is frustrated, so I thought I would share the info as I know it.</p>

<p>Gailbeth, A 3.8 and 25 should be enough for summer. Gosh!
