hear back from ucf summer 2012?

The application has been for review for one month!

Mine was too until I found out, do you should hear by next week. From hat I’ve seen they usually make decisions on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays every week.

this is honestly giving me anxiety-- i just want to know already :(

I felt your pain for almost two months. You’ll get in. Relax.

Kyle-Remember when I was telling you that you would get in, and you kept saying you were nervous? Now the role is reversed. We can’t relax, because we don’t know what’s going to happen. It’s totally up in the air with the stats that we have.

Yes I remember, but I got in and we have similar stats. That’s why I’m saying relax. Don’t check it for a couple days, but shoot them an email tomorrow.

My son has not heard anything for fall or summer. He also has not heard anything from USF. The waiting and checking is getting old. But I guess it’s still early, although it does not seem that way.

@Jena, I haven’t had any decision from USF either after 5 weeks.

ACCEPTED!

I got accepted for Summer Term B 2012 as of 6:09pm! You will get an email notifying you of your update as soon as they update it. That’s how I found out, I hadn’t even checked then I recieved an email saying “hey guess what,your status has changed!” went and looked and It said “Congratulations!” I can’t wait to get the traditional hard copy acceptance letter in the mail! woohoo!

I am just waiting for my other college UF to accept/reject me to make the final decision.
DISCLAIMER: UCF is NOT my backup school, I am considering them both EQUALLY

For someone like WRITEfluidity (haha (: ) that may be interested:

Congrats laurentini. I hope we get the hard copy soon. I got accepted yesterday.

Congrats Kyle! What do you plan on majoring in??

Pre-med. I have to change my major but admissions said I can do that at orientation. What do you want to major in?

Event Management or some type of business major!! (:

That’s pretty cool! Yeah I was very surprised I got in bc it’s getting so hard to get into UCF these days

Ah, I’m so happy you got in! That’s honestly amazing!:smiley: I bet it feels so good to be accepted! Congrats!:D

@Kyle,

My top choice is USF, i’m so anxious to know!

flsea- USF has a grid somewhere in their website that will tell you whether you will get in. It’s pretty straight forward. It strictly goes by GPA and SAT/ACT scores.

Here it is:

http://usfweb2.usf.edu/Admissions/pdf/counselor-grid.pdf

@write

It feels great bc UCF is my first choice over UF and Fsu. Be patient.

I was originally consider FSU. I came to visit the campus over spring break last year. It was so beautiful, and traditional. The campus was really compact, which would make it easy to walk around…but something didn’t click. I don’t know if it was the town it was in (Which I hate-too close to Alabama for my liking) or the fact that it felt like you were suffocating, because it was almost building to building. Then I found UCF, and obviously feel for it. Hard.
