HELP! 31 ACT, Strong GPA, Where do I Apply!?

I disagree with @derivativeslover. “The gusto” is to be found at a well-matched school where most students have done similarly well in high school at a similar level of rigor. Focusing on “lottery” schools that are not well-matched in this way can cause you to miss out on the best opportunities for you. You are well-qualified for some excellent schools. They do not fall into the “Ivy League” or “Top 20” category. You sound inclined to be realistic, and you will have wonderful choices within a realistic range - don’t be distracted by others on CC with a less clear-eyed mindset.

@rosered55 is correct that we need a general idea of your budget and financial aid eligibility in order to make good suggestions. Also your gender, as some of the women’s colleges would be great targets if you’re female.

(Minor point: how is your UW GPA 4.0 if you got a C in AlgII? Did you do grade recovery?)
