I have a 3.2 UW gpa and 3.6 Weighted gpa and received a 31 on my act. Although my gpa doesn’t reflect my act scores, I have many community service hours and hobbies. Please let me know if I can get into any of the following colleges:
Lehigh
Uwisconsin
Uwashinton
Uflorida
Umiami
UVM
Villanova
UNC- chapel hill
Tulane
NYU

P.S.- I’m white, from N.J., and can afford all of the colleges listed

Lehigh - 10% or lower
Uwisconsin - 20% chance
Uwashinton - 20% chance
Uflorida - 15% chance
Umiami - 10% chance
UVM - 25-30% chance
Villanova - 15% chance
UNC- chapel hill - 5% chance, super hard OOS
Tulane - 15% chance
NYU - 10% chance

Almost all of these schools are reaches for you, your GPA is really going to drag you down, and just having hobbies without any apparent leadership roles or national recognition won’t help you either. You’ll definitely want to add some more safeties to this list; these colleges are all roughly aroun your ACT, but well above your GPA. You’ll need to find a middle ground.

Hobbies, or clubs?
Like plumbus said your GPA isnt great, and your ACT is ok so all these schools will be a bit of a reach unless you have a hook.

@collegebruh69 I say Miami and U Florida are matches while every other school is high match to reach.

@Plumbus very toxic… 25% chance for uvm? Are you mental? They have an 80% acceptance rate

I think you have at least anywhere between 60 to 80%. Your lower GPA is compensated by your high SAT score.

Solid chance at Uwisconsin, Uwashington (assuming non-STEM major), Uflorida, Umiami, and UVM. The other schools such as Lehigh, UNC, and Villanova are reaches, depending on your ECs, essays, and course rigor. Hope that helps

@collegebruh69 huh, yeah. Looking back on this idk what I was thinking. OP, you’ve got a decent chance at most of these places, although slim at UNC. My bad.
