I might have gotten my first C ever in Physics 4a for Scientists and Engineers at my local community college... Colleges ask for community college transcripts. I am planning on sending my transcript now before the grade is entered. Will I have to send another transcript later on after the grade is entered? I really dun want them to see the C cause the only thing I really have going for me is my gpa and sat. I am afraid the C will cast a dark cloud over my other grades cause the colleges may think there is grade inflation at my school. The reality is that I got the C because I was way too busy with my normal high school classes which a lot of my friends at berkeley claim are harder than colleges classes.

Anyways, regarding the C, if I send the transcript now, will the colleges ask for another transcript with the physics grade entered?

The application deadline for most of my schools is like January 1. The C does not go on my high school transcript, but it goes on my community college transcript.

Rest your mind. Don't wear yourself down with unnecessary worries. This score will have zero, repeat, zero effect on your admission chances. Enjoy your upcoming holiday break.

Physics 4A is Mechanics with Calculus right? (you live in CA...?) Actually, that is a pretty easy class. Even though it does have calculus in it, it is still pretty easy to manage conceptually, although I may be underestimating the difficulty of your high school classes. On sending it, it really depends where you're applying. For top 15 schools, the C may hurt you, a lot. Or it might have no bearing on admissions decisions. If you don't feel comfortable sending it to your colleges, then don't. If you get accepted in March I'm sure you can send it in April or May and you won't get rescinded, provided that you got straight A's in all your other classes

seems to me a C in a college course would still look pretty damn good...can anyone back me up on this? Anyway, stop freaking out. I think colleges will value more your initiative in taking a class outside of HS than your grade in it.
