Help a brother out please!

I would really appreciate if some people could give me an objective idea of what my chances are for the following list of schools:

Harvard
Princeton
Columbia
Yale
Stanford
University of Chicago
Johns Hopkins
UC - Berkeley
University of Michigan
NYU
University of Miami

I am interested in the Neural Sciences and Psychology.

SAT: Haven't Taken
ACT: 34, (35R, 34E, 33M, 34S) Taken one time
Unweighted GPA: 3.93
Rank: My school doesn't but in top 5% I know for sure
Class Schedule Senior Year: IB2 History, IB2 English, IB2 Spanish, IB2 Math SL, IB2 Physics, IB2 Chemistry, IB2 Economics

Extracurriculars:
-Taken two classes dual-enroll, for college credit, at a local University (Psychology and Biology courses)
-Research with my psychology professor in the summer (co-authored a paper that has been submitted for publishing)
-I.C.U. volunteer <200 hours
-Board Member of non-profit organization that raises over $15,000 a year for cancer research and special needs charities.
-Captain of Science Olympiad Club

-Scuba/Land immersion trip to Ecuador
-United Nations Diploma for full-immersion field study in biodiversity, sustainable development, and conservation (Best time of my life)
-Work at a Medical Supplies Company as a salesmen (in summer), and delivery-man (during school)
-On an unrelated note I compete in a lot of triathlons and have received first place in my age group a couple times in some, this isn't something that I would put on a resume but I might write about it in an essay.

Recommendations:
-My physics teacher and I have a very interesting relationship and i suspect his rec will be very good.
-My counselor and I also love each other and she is going to write about how I have been a student ambassador, big brother to three freshman, mentor, and a bunch of other things involving creating a closer community in the school.
-My additional rec will be my psychology professor who has told me that I was the best student in the class I took with him (I was the only high school student in it).

I'm a white, middle-class male :/
I don't have any real hooks other than that my high school is considered very rigorous and is nationally and internationally ranked. (In top 15 for the last five or six years nationally).

Thanks a lot for the advice I really appreciate it as I don't really know much about how and why colleges grant acceptance.

you are applying to some hard schools there. you should be able to get into UChicago, Johns Hopkins, NYU, and University of Miami easily. The Ivies and Stanford are pretty darn selective so I don’t know about those. Michigan and Berkeley should be your target schools. but i would also apply to some lower tier schools for backup
your resume transcript and whatnot are really really strong. i wouldn’t worry about it.

You’ve got a really good shot at all those Ivies! Good luck! And chance back? Just make sure to write about an awesome essay and focus on leadership for places like Stanford

Ivies are ivies, once you have the stats (which you do) it is hard to predict. That being said you are a very strong applicant, also your ACT is fantastic (I will be taking it this upcoming April and would be thrilled with a 33). Also you have a nice variety of strong EC’s. Good luck!

Harvard: Reach
Princeton: Reach
Columbia: Reach
Yale: Reach
Stanford: Reach
University of Chicago: Low Reach (make sure your essay is well written)
Johns Hopkins: Low Reach
UC - Berkeley: Low Reach
University of Michigan: Probably in
NYU: Probably in
University of Miami" In

Ivies all reaches
Still probably an edge

Where did you do UN field study?

Thanks everyone! What I’ve been told by my counselor is that my EC’s are pretty good, but my stats (ACT, GPA) are simply average when compared to the top universities. I’m going to apply to some other universities that will be better financially but my main focus are those schools. I know the Ivies are a crap shoot along with Stanford and UC but I’m feeling easy about MIami, NYU, and MIchigan. Hopkins and Berkeley could go either way.

By the way, my field study was done in South America.

You will for sure get into UMiami.

My stats were a 3.8 gpa and a poor SAT: 1890

And I currently attend UM…oops^

and I got into Hopkins with those scores
my bf with a 3.8 gpa and a 2100 SAT got into berkeley
