HELP!!!!!
i accidently made a mistake on my FAFSA. in the ACG eligibility data section. but when i tried to make corrections to it, the question doesnt appear on the correction page!! what do i do???
the mistake i made is on the Student's Eligible AP/IB Exam Score. i put YES because i was planning to take two next month, but my brother suggested that i only take the calculus one and not the chemistry one. so now i am only signed up for one, which doesnt qualify me for the Student's Eligible AP/IB Exam Score becasue i need two AP tests. but i cant seem to change it!
can someone tell me how to correct it?? and will this affect anything dramatically?

I wouldn’t worry about changing it. Marking that you are eligible on FAFSA just flags it for the school that you may be eligible. They have to check that you are in fact eligible before they give you the ACG (by looking at your final transcripts etc). It depends on your State whether you are eligible or not (our state had taking AP tests as one of the possible eligibility criteria, but it was not the only way to be eligible). If your college finds you are not eligible they will just not give it to you. The ACG is $750 for a freshman so that is the difference it would make as far as federal grants. It is $1300 for a sophomore but is scheduled to cease to exist after2010-2011 school year.

Are you Pell eligible (EFC 4618)? If not you would not be eligible for the ACG anyway.
