Messed up on a part of the FAFSA?

I messed up on a part in which I thought was asking if I had completed required courses to graduate high school- However, Im just finding out it was asking if I had completed Advanced Classes and I never took advanced classes. So, I marked that I had taken them unknowingly that it was meaning advanced classes.

I have already submitted my application and just noticed this mistake when going over my review. I tried to make a correction to it, but there is no where to make a correction to that part. What do I need to do? I am nervous I will be in trouble for this error....

I believe this question is the initial screening for the Academic Competitiveness Grant. If so, you’d also have to be Pell eligible (EFC below $4618) and your final HS transcript would be verified by the FA office for the required courseload (academic rigor). So, if you can’t correct it, there’s no harm done. I’d bet alot of kids get this one wrong!

That’s right … no harm done. ACG is a hand-screening process, anyway. If you are eligible, your school will award it. If not, they won’t.
