i need to know which one of these schools will best prepare me for harvard, a career on wall street and the presidency.

Winner - Best Post Of 2008 Application Season !! Now let's build on it.

What are my chances?

SSAT's - 104%
Grandpa donated a nuclear submarine to the school's physics lab
I made a quilt the size of Rhode Island for children in an impoverished country
I invented a new form of martial arts now taught in 17 countries
I volunteer for the local animal shelter neutering strays

omg! did ur s/d do all that stuff, laxtaxi? invent a new form of martial arts? is this a joke?

Choate is pretty hot on the fact that they actually produced a president. Personally, I favor Deerfield.

Any of those schools are good choices. Pick what feels best for now and take advantage of all the opportunities they throw at you.

Another thought -- which school has the best international focus -- specifically in terms of curriculum but in general overall. And I don't mean which school has the most international students. Seems to me that in this day and age, a future president needs to have a larger view of the world than the incumbent.

hilarious! this is a joke, right?

andover might be something to keep me out of the white house. president bush went there. choate might also be a problem because of kennedy. i may scrach them off the list.

I think Groton claims a president but I can't remember which one. Kerry went to SPS--are you ruling out failed candidacies? :)

Congratulations to you, nhfootballer, on your successful applications. In my opinion, any one of the schools you list could further your career goals. You should choose the school you like the best.

As a parent, I urge you not to let your future goals overshadow the present. The next 8 years of your life will change you. Don't be afraid to adjust your plans, as you learn more about yourself.

google says president franklin roosevelt went to groton.

OMG i got a 130 % on SSAT
got recommendations from the secretary general of the United Nations
a letter of rec from Bill Clinton
i built a time machine and went back in time and wrote a report on 2000 B.C. Egypt. P.S. President Bush told me to keep this a secret but oh well.
my grandma designed the first rocket
and my grandpa founded NASA
I have 17 sisters who went to Harvard
22 brothers who are/have attending/attended stanford
and 10 cousins who attended princeton
oh i forgot to mention

my parents have a career on wall street

lol!
wiseman!

This is SO funny!

glad you like, dazz. the multiple deerfield vs. andover posts just made me insane for a minute.

FDR went to Groton... he was pretty chill
you should come =]

Nhfootballer - this was great!!!

But, after Harvard, wall street, and the presidency, I want to be UN Secretary General....which school will best prepare me? Also, I need to consider the afterlife, so can anyone tell me which school is most likely to allow me to ascend into Heaven? Are there rankings for schools with the best Heaven acceptances?

Also, I hear St. Mark's gets a lot of press around here...you should consider going there as well. :)

You need to think about your other half, better from harvard or princeton!

FDR is their president, I believe

I was also wondering which school would give me the most leverage when applying for sainthood.
Any Ideas?

But aren't these your safety schools? What about Eton?

Do you completely screw up your chances at becoming Pope if you go to an Episcopal school?

Um, you guys, your stats are PATHETIC.

I...
-lived in Somalia for 5 years, feeding and dressing the hungry children
-got a letter of recommendation from Jesus AND Abraham Lincoln
-got a 163% on the SSAT (okay, i have to admit, this is really low)
-play five different instruments, three of them which i invented on my own and i play oboe AND cello in the new york philharmonic orchestra
-was the first person under 18 to receive the nobel peace prize
-have artwork displayed throughout the world
-am the captain of five different varsity sport teams
-am the principal at a local elementary school
-take 5 AP classes, even though I'm still in eighth grade, and I got 5's on all the tests last year
-know how to read, write, and speak seven different languages

I was accepted into all of those schools that you mentioned, but I'm not sure if they're good enough for me.
