Help? Carnegie Mellon vs. Duquesne for law school admission

I am a high school senior between Carnegie Mellon University and Duquesne University Honors College with the hopes of becoming an attorney. I would be majoring in English with a minor in Chemistry. Duquesne University has a law school on campus, "pre-law" classes, and a solid liberal arts program. I am concerned that a lower GPA from Carnegie Mellon (say 3.3 compared to 4) would hurt my chances at law school admissions. Also, I do not know much about their Humanities program, and if it is comparable to a liberal arts school like Duquesne (since CMU's main strengths are engineering, science, etc.)

Note: My financial aid packages were comparable so that is not a problem. Does anyone know if a lower GPA from CMU would negatively impact admission? I heard that CMU puts classes on a curve. I do not know if that is good or not.

A 4.0 from anywhere beats a 3.3 from CMU. However, I wouldn’t pick my undergrad based on my expected GPA for law school admissions. Go to the school you think is a better fit for you. If you end up pulling a 3.4 at Duquesne (or, heaven forbid, not wanting to go to law school) will it have been worth it to turn down CMU? I can’t answer that for you.
