<p>I just graduated high school with a 2.8 gpa and a 1840 on my SATs. I was on the golf team, started a group that organized concerts for charity and had a few other good extracurricular activities. I applied to univeristy of maryland college park as a freshman but was not admitted. It didnt really matter to me because I decided to take a year off after high school to pursure a professional golf career. I am doing that right now. During my year "off" I decided to take some courses at University of maryland university college. I am taking 6 credits this semester that are trasnferable to UMCP and will take around 12-15 next semester. So if i take around 18-21 credits this year and get A's and B's in my courses, will I get into UMCP for the fall of 2010 as a transfer student?? I REALLY want to go there. I am in state. I know that unless I take 30 credits they will still look at my high school stuff...and my gpa wasnt that good. Unfortunately I just dont have time, with doing golf, to take 30 credits..
Please let me know if ill be admitted! or any advice would be good..</p>
