i would say you have a fair shot, but it would be much better if you increased your math score, because that 520 really stands out. everything else is great though, especially the gold award, play that up in your essays because its a huge commitment and is a great achievement...i know im writing about it for my EC essay (i just got my gold award a few weeks ago, after 12 yrs of girl scouting). i think it might even be a good hook, because so few girls get it.

you have a good shot, not great, but if you try to get the math score to at least 650-ish you would probably get in. if you can't get it higher, just make sure you have really great essays and emphasize your ECs as much as you can. scores aren't everything, but the rest of your application will have to be excellent, especially if you aren't a URM.

my best advice is to retake the SATs and apply ED if brown is your first choice, because that should give you a (slightly) better chance at getting in.

oooh! get that math score up like a junt! maybe if you increased it, it might offset that C in Algebra II. Can you take Alg II in summer school and then average the summer grade with the C, assuming you do better? that would bring your gpa up for sure and make u more competitive. try taking the math I sat II. that might be easiest to study for at this point. the best way is just to practice practice practice. i'm sure u can do it. i LOVE LOVE your EC's by the way. g'luck.
