<p>D has 3 schools in her selected institutions section of the common appl. She is applying to one school EA and is ready to submit the common appl and school supplement. If she hits the SUBMIT button will the common appl be send to ALL three schools? She wants to make a few changes to the common appl before it is submitted to the other two schools. </p>
<p>Will she be forced to delete the other two schools from her selected institutions list to be assured the common appl wont be sent to those schools also?</p>
<p>When you hit the submit button, you will get a list of all your schools with a box to check next to them. The application will only go to the schools you check.</p>
<p>You might also check out some of the threads on how to create alternate applications, which is a little more convoluted than just making a few changes.</p>
<p>I just now had a panic attack when realized D left out biggest academic award on common app! I just found the link to “alternate version” by clicking help at upper right corner of common app home page. Has anyone succesfully used this yet?</p>
<p>If you find you leave out something important, the student can go ahead and send in a snail-mailed letter including the information and requesting that it be put in the application file.</p>
