I am planning on applying to a variety of colleges with a portfolio of digital art. Right now my main goal is UCLA but that seems unlikely right now since their design school is very picky. I'm not sure about which other colleges have good digital media sorts of programs so if you had any info on that, I would greatly appreciate it!

I don't have any formal training in design, don't have any teacher to ask, so I was hoping you all would have some advice on how to put together a digital art portfolio, and maybe some examples of some pieces? I'm really clueless as to how to go about the whole process. Google hasn't really helped me any but maybe you know of some sites that I don't... hopefully.

Also, I'm kind of iffy on the sorts of things that they do and don't accept in digital pieces. I know they don't like celebrity/printed images in traditional portfolios, but what about in digital? I've tried emailing UCLA DMA (digital media arts) about it and they have yet to respond.

I'm beginning to panic!
Thanks in advance for your help!!
