HELP!! Decision between NYU:Tisch, Berklee, Webster or AMDA??

I was accepted into NYU:Tisch in the Meisner Studio for acting. However I wanted to do music theatre. Although I do love theatre music is something I definitely want to do. I was accepted into the Musical Theatre programs for both Webster and AMDA L.A. I was accepted as a vocal performance major for Berklee College of music. I received scholarships from all of the schools with NYU being the largest (in proportion to total cost of attendance). I know that the acting training at Tisch will be phenomenal but I am finding it hard to justify committing to such a huge financial committment when I will be in a program (it’s mandatory) for two years in which i will only be doing a fraction of what I truly love to do. I would just choose Berklee but if I attend there I cannot pursue a double major (which i believe is a smart thing to do because of the uncertainty that goes along with a performance degree). I am running out of time to decide. I was able to get the enrollment deposit deferred but the housing deposit for all of these schools is due the first of June. no exceptions. I have been debating this for months and considering all the options, I am at a complete loss.

I also got into Berklee (not going to attend) and it doesn’t seem like they have much musical theatre going on there. Tisch Acting is phenomenal no matter what studio you’re in, and I bet there will be several opportunities for musical theatre whether or not your studio has anything to do with it. I haven’t heard anything about Webster, and I’ve heard as many mixed opinions on AMDA for MT as I have on Berklee for music. You should try posting this in the musical theatre major forum and see what they think.
