Hi, just got my subject tests scores back
690-math level 2
680-math level 1
640-physics
should i send both maths scores to colleges? or just math level 2 and physics? for colleges that dont require subject tests should i still send them??
thank you!

Just send Math II & Physics.

What is your intended major? If it is engineering-related AND the colleges you’re applying to neither mandate nor recommend the submission of 2 Subject SATs, then I think you should only send Math II and not Physics since it is on the low side. If they do recommend sending 2 SAT IIs then send both.

my intended major is business. Some dont require any subject tests and some require 2
thanks!

For colleges that don’t require them AND don’t “strongly recommend” sending 2, then I wouldn’t send Physics, especially since you’re not majoring in engineering or anything.

For example, Stanford doesn’t require 2. However, it does strongly recommend sending them. Therefore I’d send both Physics & Math II. But if colleges do not specify this, then I would recommend you only send Math II since 690 is a decent score.

That is, wherever you apply, send Math II. You have a good score (it may seem bad because it isn’t in the 80% or anything like a 690 in the SAT I is, but it’s still okay). However, don’t send your Physics to schools that don’t require/recommend sending 2 (in my opinion) since it isn’t as good.

Most (all?) schools will only consider one of the Math Subject tests.
