Well I am a sophomore in high school and i was just wondering do i have any chance at all at Harvard. Well since 9th grade i have been in MyP the Smaller version of the IB( International Baccalaureate program) and I do plan on going to IB. In the beginning of this year something happened in my family and my G.P.A dropped from and avg. of 3.5 for the whole year of fresh man year and i got 3.1 G.P.A and now that i know what had happened. I know i am gone work my butt off and get a 4.0 G.P.A straight from now on and i plan to avg. out my G.P.A to a 3.7 by the time i am finished with high school and I plan to get above a 33 on my Acts and although i still don't know what two subject SAT are I will figure it out some how. I am also planing to take 2 science classes( AP or IB ones). I also plan on taking 4 years of history and foreign language, science, math and English and i also plan to take also their AP and IB exams. Also I am gone have a lot of community and services hours and i plan to do student gov.and speech and debate and tennis and FBLA. So tell me straight up do i have a chance or not because i do not wanna spend any more time emailing the Harvard admission office about me having ay chances.

Most people have a chance, but Harvard is a reach for almost everyone.

Since there isn’t anything that stands out in particular on your apps, Harvard will be a reach.

Harvard is a reach for everybody. Where you are right now puts you below average for Harvard to the point that it is unrealistic. Most of your post is hypothetical right now, come back once you have actual scores and a GPA that includes more then freshman year.

Go to the websites of different colleges and READ. Don’t go emailing people randomly. Do your work.
