HELP - First time self study apwh and apeuro??

Hi,

I’m a Canadian sophomore who just learned about AP exams this year. Unfortunately though, my school offers no ap classes at all, and I’m thinking about self studying a couple of them this year.

Is self studying apwh and apeuro in the same year too much? I’m really interested in the course (I’ve already been flipping through some prep books) but I have no basic history knowledge whatsoever. I’m in a special “enriched” program at my school and they don’t let you choose your courses. I know (sigh)

Should I study with textbooks or just prep books? I want to learn as much as possible so I don’t mind reading through some extra stuff but if it makes it too hard I can live with anything as long as it works. Please recommend books :)

Also, can anyone tell me other good AP courses to self study? I’m pretty well rounded, I’m good at math and science but I also really enjoy humanities. Any help or advice is appreciated, I’m really new to this so don’t judge LOL

Thanks!

Hi, As from someone whose taken apeuro, I can tell you that was the most grueling course I have ever taken in my HS Career. However, I did receive a 4 on the exam. I had a lot of study materials aside from the textbook which helped me get my score
stuff I def recommend:
5 steps to a 5:500 AP euro Questions
Barrons AP European History
Princeton Review European History

with those materials you wont need a textbook and if you ever get confused you can always youtube a concept!

For other ap’s I recommend Calculus ab and psychology! They are both easy and great classes
