Help for a Friend..

<p>Alright I have a friend who is intersted in ND and i told him a would get your guys opinions.
Here are his facts:
GPA: 3.8 UW, 4.1 W
ACT: 33 (taking it again, looking for 34)
Rank: school doesnt rank but definately top 10%
School: competitive Catholic school in Tennessee (home to Harrison Smith for football fans) with many graduates attending ND
EC: president of senior class, captain of baseball and basketball teams (recruited for baseball by smaller schools), NHS for 3 years, Mu Alpha Theta 3 years, 110 service hours, gone to Haiti for a mission trip
AP Classes: 5 APs but most rigurious courses taken
Teacher Rec and Essay: should be outstanding</p>

<p>any other info just let me know, any help would be appreciated and greatly thanked</p>

<p>I'd say he has a pretty good shot. ACT looks pretty good right now, but a 34 would help. </p>

<p>I think I'm going to be in his same spot come senior year. My school doesn't offer that many AP classes, so I'm going to have the most rigorous schedule, but only graduate with like 6 APs.
I do plan on taking classes at the local CC for credit. It may not transfer, but it should still look good on a college app.</p>
