HELP! I Don't Know Where to Go!

Hey everyone! I am having the hardest time choosing one more college to apply to. I live near Buffalo, New York I am going for my MBA degree and most likely minor in Spanish. I have around a 3.4 gpa sat with reading and math of 1170. I want to go somewhere I know I can party (lol) but also somewhere with a credible reputation. Other colleges I'm probably applying to are Ohio State, Saint John Fisher (Rochester), Suny Oswego, Suny Binghamton, and Bentley U (Boston area). I am not opposed to traveling from home. I prefer a medium sized school if possible, and private if possible. If anyone has ANY suggestions of where I should look into it would be greatly appreciated!
THANKS!
Taylor
P.S. I really love hockey, so a boys ice hockey team would be an added plus if possible :)

An MBA is a graduate degree, usually one works for several years after college before enrolling in an MBA program. Do you mean BBA?

Is cost a factor? What locations do you prefer?

yeah I guess a bba, I’m working towards mba in the future, so is a bba where I’m suppose to start? Cost is somewhat of a factor but I do have resources so it could be worked around if I truly wanted to attend. I suppose Northeast U.S. would be best but if you have a good idea of somewhere else I’m definately willing to travel! Thanks!

What does that mean? tOSU will cost $41K/year out of state and you won’t get any FA beyond the minimum available, nor will your stats warrant much, if any, merit aid.

well what I meant was that, I’ll take what I can get and deal with the rest if I really want to attend somewhere, so I guess I’ll go with no, cost is not a factor? ha

Can your family afford to pay $41K/year? You can get loans for about 5-10K/year (depending on your year in school). How will you pay for the rest?

If you want, you can start with a business degree, but you don’t have to. What is your career goal?

Erin’s Dad is right…You can’t be loosey-goosey about cost. Students can NOT borrow much for college. You can’t just deal with the problem later. We could show you many posts from kids who are weeks/months away from classes starting without the means to pay because they also thought that they would deal with issue later.

Seriously, it’s best to know now how much money you have for college so you know what you’re dealing with.

If you aren’t sure how much your parents will pay each year, PLEASE ask them. :)

We want YOU to be HAPPY in the spring with great choices of schools that you’ll have the funding to attend. :)
