Help, I dropped the ball concerning my graded paper.

Approximately 8 of the colleges require a graded paper. I chose my research paper that I did in AP U.S. History. I wasn't sure if she still had a copy, so I printed out a fresh copy for her. I meant to give it to her in person last Tuesday, but she had already left, so I put it in her mailbox. I attached a letter explaining what she should do and thanked her profusly. I told her that if she had any questons she should feel free to ask me. Well, I meant to go her Wednesday and ask her about it, but I didn't. All my applications are due tommorow. I am planning to go see her in the morning, and make copies of it but I am afraid that she will yell at me for being irresposible or tell me that she couldn't do it. Anyway, how should I approach her?

Anyone......................?

So you are having her grade it early then?

Just go explain your situation and ask her nicely for it and then, if anything goes wrong, just start crying :-P... Haha but seriously teachers are humans too and tend to be a lot more understanding than they seem (based on my experience anyway).

haha, you should cry.

I don't know if she has graded it yet. This is not a very understanding one, and hates when people cry. I am going to apoligize profusly. The thing is I need it by tommorow. I also think that the fact that she didn't have any questions for me could be a good sign or it could mean that she never got it.

Yea I'd say just go talk to her tomorrow and don't give her anything to yell at u about, haha.. Like preface it by saying "I know it was irresponsible of me. I know I didn't give you enough time. etc. etc." Good luck!

The manner in which you should aproach her depends on her character. You know better than anyone else here.

did she eat you? just curious..
