~Help! I filled out my application incorrectly!~

I just applied for Cal Poly SLO for Fall 2012 and I realized that after I submitted it, I made an error under the “golden four” classes. Under the B4 class (quantitative reasoning) I put in a class that I’m taking right now (Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences). It’s also the class I put under “currently taking”. Problem is, under the semester and year category, I put Spring 2012, but I’m actually taking this class now (Fall 2011). I can’t believe I did that! How is this going to affect me as far as being considered? Will I get denied just because of this one stupid little mistake?? I emailed campus admissions but haven’t heard back yet…has this ever happened before to anybody???

Youre’ okay man, if i remember correctly you have until around Decemberish? to edit your application after submitting. The admissions office will have to correct the error though, they should tell you how to do this when they email you back.

Yes. I had to do this. I actually did it after the “deadline” and still got accepted. But do it! you send an email to a specific Admissions person and they will change it and notify you. Check the website. Or call Admissions- always helpful

I just had to change my application too. Here is the website where they tell you how to submit changes to your application. Good luck.
