Ok I just got in to UCSB, decent grades, never got a D before, but now its my final semester of high school and im getting a D+ in my Ap calculus class. I'm still going to have well over a 3.0, and this was not a required course to graduate, it was actaully my 5th year of a math class. CAn they revoke m admissions for that, what can happen?

They most likely will not rescind you, But make sure to email the school about your grade ASAP and ask them if it will affect their admissions decision. You should tell them, because it is better than finding out when they review your transcript and it looks like you tried to hide it. I think you'll be okay though.

My friend got an F in AP Spanish literature first semester(4th year she didn't need it either). She emailed UC Davis about it and they said they will still let her in.

I thought I was going to get a D also and called and emailed the school. They said as the class was not required to graduate, it was okay, just as long as I didn't get more than one and that my gpa remained over a 3.0 It was quite a relief to hear that, but they need to know before they get your final transcript so email them right away. Anyway, I ended up with a C so it was okay.

Not to scare you man, but a girl at my school just got her acceptance rescinded for getting a D in Trig (the rest of her grades were A's, including 4 AP classes.) She was planning to take it over the summer, but they weren't having any of that. This was for UC Santa Cruz though.
