Hi!!
I have a 3.2 gpa. and I got a 1530 on my SATs.
I think I want to go to school for nursing but I am not 100% sure.....
I live in Northern NJ. and I would like to stay within 2-3 hours of home...any suggestions??
PLLEEAAASSEEE HELPP!!
im so stressed.

check out curry college in Milton MA, maybe just over 3 hrs. Good nursing program.
Others, Regis college in the same area. Although nursing programs are more difficult to get into so don’t just look at the college overall stats (for SATs, GPA). You need to try to find stats on accepted Nursing majors.

Some schools will accept you but not directly into their Nursing program, they’d say transfer into Nursing dept after year 1… try to avoid that, transfers aren’t easy. Try to find a school which accepts you straight into nursing.

Check out schools rates for what percentage pass their boards after graduation, that’s the way I’d rank schools. Nursing is one area where prestige doesn’t matter, just gotta get the BS degree and pass the boards. I find it amusing people go to NYU for nursing, why??? It’s too expensive.

THANKS! i agree with you, why go somewhere so expensive when not needed??
thanks for the good advice
