Omg, I just realized I did my entire nmsf app in BLUE PEN and they asked for BLACK. What should I do? Do I redo the whole thing or do you think they'll still accept it?

will it get me automatic rejection b/c it shows i can't follow directions/don't read them??

I did the same exact thing and have the same exact question. My guidance counselor told me to write over it in black ink, but I'm not sure. BTW, it's good to know I'm not the ONLY person in the entire country dumb enough to have done this. My guidance counselor sort of implied that I was.

That application could rattle anyone's nerves!

I suggest you call National Merit Scholarship Corp. and ask them; they will offer you the best advice. 1-847-866-5100. They're in Illinois and I don't think they open until 8:30 central standard time. I had to phone them about a question I had last week and they were helpful with my question. Might as well get the correct answer about what to do!

I think I win this game: for top choice college I put Columbia University, New York City, New Jersey. Luckily I caught it in time, but now New York is written over a cross out.
