Hi, I know I posted about schedule advice before, but I've made a few changes.

UGBA 10 (Haas pre-req) - Robinson
ESPM 50ac (fulfills AC and P&V breadth) - Spreyer
French 2 (interested & needed for PEIS) - Chavdarian (but apparently taught by GSIs??)
PE 1 (Yoga) - Mar
Poli Sci 179 - Ross
Math 16a (Haas pre-req)

That is 3 + 4 + 5 + .5 + 1 + 3 respectively for a total of 16.5 units.

Is this a well-balanced course load for an incoming freshman? I'm a Haas hopeful and probably pursuing PEIS as well.

Also, can I make it from Lewis to Barrows in 10 minutes?

Lastly, any input on the classes or profs would be greatly appreciated! :D

Thank you!!!

Looks good to me. Instead of taking a PE class, I would just take classes at RSF (they are free, and RSF membership is just $10/semester). But that’s just me.

Thanks for your response. I’m confused about how gym membership or RSF(?) works at Cal. Is it a gym I can go to as a student as long as I pay that membership fee? Is it like a regular gym with all the equipment and classes as well? What are the hours like, since they hold PE classes there, it must be closed at times?

No, the RSF is not a regular gym. It is one of the largest, most expansive gyms I have ever seen. And no, it’s open till like 1 or 11 at night.

Good schedule. Serious, but not too hard.

Thanks. I’m looking forward to having access to a gym anytime. Is Hearst Gym similar? What’s the difference between Hearst and RSF?

anyone have any advice about the classes themselves or profs?
