hi,! umm.. i'm just very confused with those terms..
what's the difference between
College of Literature, Science, and the Arts
and
Residential College (LSA) ??

I think the LSA Residential College is the college with majors for liberal arts.

LSA is the liberal arts college at Michigan. Residential College is a program within LSA where a smalller group of LSA students live and take classes at East Quad. Residential College is intended to provide the small school within a larger school effect.

Residential college also has a substantial languages program, meaning, to participate, you will need to take an intensive foreign language class (worth 8 credits, I believe). The benefits of the program include onsite, small, socratic-style seminar courses.

ohh so is it harder to get into Residential College??

No, you just select it at the time of application. If you enjoy languages, then you may enjoy the RC setting. If you do not love learning languages, you may not.
