Help me choose a college

College applications are just in a few months but I'm not to sure which schools to apply to
I'm a senior and I want to major in chemical engineering or chemistry
I want my college to be a 4 year public university in California
My UC GPA IS 4.0 and my SAT is 1710 and my ACT is 25

Please try to give me a list of which ones I'll most likely to get into, with the first choice as the best one

The GPA is good enough for some UCs, but their Engineering schools are especially selective. The test scores are low for UCs, though. You could try UCSC,Riverside, and Merced. Would your GPA qualify you for admission under “local context” (ie. within top 7% at your high school)? Otherwise, possibly Cal Poly-Pomona and some other CSUs. I do not know offhand wh

can’t take the standardized tests again?

You need to calculate your UC/CSU GPA, see link: <a href=“Cal State Apply | CSU”>Cal State Apply | CSU;
@woogzmama is right in that you have a Good GPA but test scores need to be more competitive especially for Chemicial Engineering. I would either retake SAT or ACT. Your options at the moment would be UCSC/UCR/UCM as good chances. UCD/UCI/UCSB would be low reaches unless you up the test scores. You should also consider SJSU/CPP/CSULB. All these schools would give you a great education. Good luck…
