Help me decide between Walsh SFS or McDonough Business Please!

I have a dilemma for choosing the right school on my application for Georgetown. I am very passionate about business and international services but I can relate more to the essay for the SFS School and I have a lot of credentials relating to international service school :

*Internship with a non-profit organization that helps malnourished countries

As community service chair of my student council I helped organize events related to international affairs (recently we teamed up with the Falling Whistles organization to help the Kivu Conflict and War in the democratic republic of Congo

Involved in another non-profit organization that helps with war stricken countries including my motherland, Sri Lanka.

I am very big on community service with 350+ hours and counting.

For the essay for SFS I am planning to write about how the Sri Lankan Civil War affected my family and I and my possible diplomatic solution to it. The problem is thought I don’t have the necessary SAT grades for Walsh School of Service (1980 – 660 M, 650 CR, 670 W) and I am afraid I might be falling into a straight up rejection although my interest and passion in International Affairs is very high.

As for McDonough I think I have the proper grades and I also have an interest in business but I really don’t know how my influence came. I was going to write how my father influenced me since he never got to receive his MBA in accounting and I wanted to “finish the dream” but not forcefully, I do have a interest in accounting. I have a couple of business related EC’s credentials:

*Business Professionals of America (Accounting Team/Economic Research Project Lead)

Helped various organization through fundraising using business techniques and skills to sell the product.

So yeah I am really stuck now!

It would be great if anyone could help me out and decide which one is best for me!

Don’t write about ‘finishing the dream’ and your father. The essay is about you, you are going for your undergrad, not your MBA ( which is probably 10 years down the road IF you have the same idea of what you want)

Sounds like SFS is a better fit for you… you should apply to the school that fits your interests best!
