Help me decide!! :)

Hey guys,

I want to major in finance and ultimately land a job at Goldman Sachs doing some sort of trading (preferably fixed income or currencies)

I have been accepted to the following schools:

NYU

Georgetown

BHP at UT-Austin

UC Berkeley

Michigan-Ann Arbor

Which one of these schools would give me the best chance of landing a job at Goldman?

Which of these schools has the most friendly/relaxed environment?

Cost is not a factor.

Thanks in advance for your help.

NYU

Not NYU...probably UT or Berkeley

Omg are you kidding? Georgetown all the way!

have u been accpeted to NYU Stern? and what about Umich are u a preferred admit to Ross? and which school in Georgetown?

You're kidding right? Deadline for deposits have come and gone.

Actually, you can just put a deposit on all and then save your self some time to decide. This is expensive but it's not significant for my family.

And yes, NYU Stern and MSB at Georgetown

hmmm...i know somebody who is choosing georgetown over Stern.

I like competitive environment and i think ull get that at Stern (one of the reasons i like it so much)

But in terms of a "somewhat" relaxed environment, id say georgetown coz its really really good like Stern and has the kinda environment u want.

I know you can but I doubt it in your case.

You have very little chance of being accepted at 3 flagship state schools being OOS.

The threadstarter already stated that he was accepted into those schools. It probably has something to do with his near perfect SAT score.

Although, I would just say that the threadstarter isn't going to have a chance at hell of landing his "dream job" if he doesn't apply himself much more than he did in HS.

where do you want to work?

for wall street, Stern, Ross then Gtown tied with BHP and Berkely

if you want to work in the west definately las angeles

if you want to work in chicago area michigan

south- texas

wall street- Stern then Ross

i think the atmosphere u want will be the dominant factor here.

Stern, Gtown , Berkeley are all superb top notch Business Schools
