So I'm thinking about a design for a new tattoo... I'd really like something that has to do with Michigan. I may just get the block M, but I'd also like to get a realistic tattoo. I was thinking of a Wolverine digging his jaws deeeeep into a Spartan's neck. But what about the Buckeyes? What the hell do you do with a Buckeye??????? haha.... any suggestions? I know there's SOMETHING I can do... I need your help!

The only thing I can come up with is a wolverine ****ting out a buckeye, but I don’t know if I want that on my arm permanently lol

I think you should take a step back, reflect, and then try again in the morning

Just go block M

I’m thinking of doing both… I want one arm to have traditional style tattoos (block M) and another arm in greywash

and I am the employer that is second guessing hiring you

You’re also the employer who’s apparently never heard of long sleeve shirts

Of any of those, just do the block M. I don’t think you’d be too proud of a tattoo depicting a wolverine biting a Spartan in 20 years, but you’d probably still be proud (or at least wouldn’t regret) to have your alma mater on your arm.

Before you do anything, wait a few months before getting it. Make sure it’s really what you want and not just a phase. I waited 2 years to get my tattoo just to make sure I wanted it. No regrets. It’s permanent so don’t do anything rash.

ETA: Make sure you can cover it with a short sleeve tshirt, not just a long sleeve one. There are still employers who make you cover tattoos and it sucks to wear long sleeve shirts in the summer.

^insert accusation of bias here.

^ Accuse me of bias all you want, I would say the exact same thing if it was an MSU person. I absolutely hate the tattoo Worthy got. I think it’s tacky and I believe it will bring regret.

Hate tats and hope it’s a passing thing. I hire the person without tats. Nasty nasty nasty. Sorry just giving an honest opinion of what I think of them. I would wait a couple of months and see if you still want one…

^ Tats have been around for thousands of years. If you can’t see the tats (which the person being tattooed should get it in a place where they can hide it) then how are you going to know?

I’ve already got tats… both very meaningful to me, especially the one for my mom. I’m pretty sure I could never regret it, or at least get it removed… that would seem weird.

I do have one on a forearm, but I really don’t care about wearing long sleeve shirts in the office jobs I’ll be trying to get. Nobody that’s interviewing me will see them. And check this out… just in case it’s necessary (for some odd reason?)

granted I won’t need nearly as much and it would only be for a little patch of my arm… but I’ve heard this stuff works very well
