I like it.
It looks good :)

Ive heard mixed reports on it. Ive heard that the cliche on the back is pretty lame. But, overall I love the color of it and Ill sure be wearing it while a cheer on the Irish back in Phoenix.

The Shirt is a must. When I went to the Michigan game, I even stayed with the guy who designed the shirt just this past fall. I dunno if I like the newest design better than his, but I think it's still a good design.

I like it. When can i have it? :] lol

umm just go to the bookstore website
15 bucks I think

Is there still a black market for t-shirts on campus? I know the 2005 shirt wasn't really popular with students, so there were "Charlie's Army" and "Charlie's Angel's" t-shirts. (I have one of the latter model.) Sounded as if the t-shirt purveyors were akin to bootleggers in the eyes of the ResLife people--not precisely sure why they were so worried about it...

Last year's shirt was pretty cool--although "the tradition" didn't really continue, at least in the bowl outcome...or the big games. Were there bootleg shirts then, too?

My son echoed Chillin's sentiments--looks cool, lame slogan. He was going to buy one of the hot-off-the-presses shirts for his sister, but smalls were already sold out by then...

T-Shirts need to be preapproved by the university, and if they find out about you selling them, they will shut you down and possibly take your profits and extra items. A sophomore around the corner from me made bootleg "The Shirt" last year and this year, featuring Ron Talley, a former resident of Alumni Hall on the football team. They were a big hit, but I'm sure the University wasn't too happy about it.

All The Shirts sold out the first weekend at the bookstore but you can still buy them online if you visit the 'Buy The Shirt' page on The Shirt website. (http://theshirt.nd.edu).

I've read some posts online about the slogans but the response by students and alumni on campus has been very positive.

I'm just curious why the university is so concerned about pre-approval for shirts--if it is a matter concern about content, or if it is about license rights and fees. My son has another shirt he bought on campus, that I won't let him wear in town when he comes home on break--you probably seen it, has to do with Michigan, and a little transposition of the first letters of the two words in the slogan. Wonder if ND tries to shut them down, too, or if they don't care so long as the Notre Dame name or logo isn't being used?

It's any sort of unapproved merchandising. The University doesn't like being cut out of profits.

With a fan base as large as Notre Dame's, I'm sure there are many random fans making and distributing apparel with Notre Dame's logo. That ND stamp or logo is almost like a stance of approval for whatever that random person put on that shirt. So, if there is something derogatory written on the shirt, then I can see the concern from the University. Their loss of profit also helps influence their somewhat uptight procedures.

we (my family) just got ours in the mail...

cant wait to wear it next year! its awesome!

i ordered a kid's size, so it won't get shipped until june :(
