Help me find a school that will give me a free ride

<a href="http://admissions.georgiasouthern.edu/scholarships.htm%5B/url%5D">http://admissions.georgiasouthern.edu/scholarships.htm</a>
I read somewhere that Georgia Southern is trying to steal kids that are capable of UGA/GA Tech by giving them a free ride. Their requirement is 1200 SAT (I'm 1280/1600), except their deadline has passed, and I've heard that GA Southern has STD's and too much alcohol and stuff.

So..
As of now, my school I'm set on is Georgia State. I'm sure I qualify for HOPE, which would cover tuition (~$5K), but there's still housing (~$3K per semester). And GA State isn't exactly a dream school..

Anyone else know schools with not so hard scholarships that I'd qualify for? Don't mind if it's out of state, only trouble is, I would think that the state would want their own residents, not some merely above average kid..

Come on, anyone? Looking for ~1100/1600 colleges like Auburn..

There are several threads in the Financial Aid forums that discuss schools that give a lot of merit aid.

It's hard to get motivated, when you want someone else to do the research for you to get a "free ride" using "not so hard" scholarships to schools with no STD's. And little alcohol.

But I give a nod to Cowbell for the SNL reference. :)

here's one of them:

sblake7, thanks!

And I, too, was trying to direct the OP to do a little research on his/her own instead of just asking for a list.

Thanks for the link zel:)
I'll be updating my Fastweb now:D
