Help me I don’t wanna die without a good college degree

Hello fellow humans, I have applied to UMass Amherst with a RD but can somebody please please chance me?
SAT : 1190 (it was my 2nd try but it still came out worse idk what to do)
GPA : 4.7 out of a whole ass 6
Also I moved to MA from another country and my 9th grade scores are not calculated in my gpa
( But apparently I’m eligible for in state tuition )
AP’s : junior year : AP Physics and AP US history
I only took the physics exam and scored a sad 2 and that class actually wrecked my gpa
Senior year : AP Comp Sci, AP Stat , AP Psychology

I really really want to get into an engineering field or comp sci. Ik both of them are hard but it’s literally been my dream.
I also applied to RIT, Purdue, Bentley, URI and UMass Lowell.
most of them are out of reach but I don’t really know what to do.
Also I have tuition problems, I can’t afford any out of state or any other good private colleges.

Plz chance me and also would it make a difference if I apply undecided over engineering? Like maybe I get in undecided and then transfer into engineering?
Also if someone can recommend other colleges for my reach woth deadlines beyond Jan 15 it would be really helpful.

Hi! UMass Amherst is a really good school, I was accepted this morning.

Like you said, those are very competitive fields. But maybe you can go in undecided, and then later go into the field? I’m not from Massachusetts so I’m not that familiar with the other colleges you applied to but I would recommend that you apply to as many schools in your state as you can afford, so you can get accepted to some and get money from them or something. (I’m from NC where SOOOOO MANY colleges spam my emails with free applications, I’m not sure if you get similar emails but if so, you should just go ahead and take advantage of the free applications and stuff and apply.)

But I have also read news articles about how Mass Amherst has higher standards for in-state students, you should look into it.

Here are details about me if you were interested in my acceptance:
