What Are My Chances? *freaking out, help please*

Hello! I'm currently a HS junior and UMass is my top choice for a university and I don't really know my chances for getting in...
On one hand I took the hardest classes that I could on the other hand, due to my sophomore year and issues during it, my GPA dropped so by the time I apply, I will have a 3.0 only
I've taken honors freshmen and sophomore english, along with AP language and literature my junior and senior year
Honors world history, and AP US history along with AP Government and AP Economics
I'll be up to precalculus in math
and lastly I'll be taking AP Physics my senior year

My freshman year, I was on the dive team
I have 3 years of winterguard
2 years of marching band
My grandmother owns a care home for the elderly and so I usually spend all of my spare time helping around and spending time with them (does this at all count as a job or volunteer work?)
I graduated from a local universities technology program for high school girls interested in technology

My rank right now is 133 out of 359
So far I've completed about 75 hours of community service
I plan on applying as a computer science major ( I love the sciences and math and coding)
Would it increase my chances if I applied early action or not?
Please and thank you!

Are you instate? You know your GPA is below UMass averages so work on raising it. You need to look at SAT or ACT high scores to get you into the candidate pool. EA is always your best bet.

Stop freaking out. All you can do from here is your very best and let the chips fall where they may. Make sure you prepare for SATs. The more you practice, the better you will get and you will be able to recognize your areas of weakness.

You mentioned a weak sophomore year. If you have a good showing in your junior year and your first semester senior year, you increase your chances. Also, you will have a chance to explain in your application any circumstances which may have affected you during your high school years.

Again put your best foot forward from here.
