help me improve my SAT score?

<p>I'm a rising senior and I took the SAT for the first time this June.</p>

<p>I got a 2200, which I guess is decent, but I was still somewhat disappointed given how skewed the score was (800 M/ 740 CR / 660 W).</p>

<p>Obviously, my Writing score is the worst. I scored a 10 on my essay, and a 63/80 on my multiple choice. I strongly feel that I can improve it, so I'll take the SAT one more time in October.</p>

<p>Do any of you have suggestions for improvement?</p>

<p>If you really want a higher score, I would recommend a tutor. But your score ws still great, even if writing was sub-par, and you should be proud. Also consider that some schools don’t even care about writing. Also, maybe gather a study group? Best of luck!!</p>
