I am a recent graduate in civil engineering currently searching for a job. A company I previously interviewed for didn't offer me the job that I wanted, but instead offer me this position called integrity management. Basically I go to clients' sites and inspect pipelines, so a lot of travelling. Honestly, this is not something that I want to do. Also, I am still waiting to hear back from another company that I recently interviewed with, and will have another interview with another company. I am desperate for a job, but still want to work in a field that I am interested in. Should I wait and see if I can find something better or should I just take the job offer now.

I’m also a civil engineering major (going to school next year) but I think you should wait to hear from your other offers. What if you hear you got the job AFTER you accepted this one you don’t even like? You should enjoy what you’re working on for more than just money. Hope it helps and good luck! :)
